Flowcrete Showcases Resin Flooring at the Food & Hospitality Exhibition

Flowcrete South Africa showcased its high performance resin flooring solutions at the Food & Hospitality Exhibition located in the Gallagher Convention Centre from the 7th to 9th May.
This year the show was combined with the Hostex Expo, to form the Food & Hospitality Exhibition - a much larger concern than before with more exhibitors and visitors.
The three-day exhibition was very busy and resulted in a lot of interest from restaurant, bakery, hotel and shop owners, plus enquiries from corporate businesses. The discussions at Flowcrete South Africa’s stand made it clear that people were growing tired of using tiles in their food processing areas and were looking for alternatives.
This, combined with the news that South Africa’s Department of Health are becoming stricter in their audits and recommending the use of epoxy and polyurethane coatings in back of house and food processing areas, meant that specialist resin floor finishes were a very popular topic of conversation at the show.
The resin flooring specialist’s stand saw many visitors interested in Flowcrete South Africa’s commercial flooring range for front of house areas in restaurants and shops and the footfall and number of enquiries at the stand exceeded expectations.
